You ever stop and think that maybe Nern knows how inane and boring his stories are, but keeps talking to make the people around him focus on something other then their sadness and hopelessness? What if he stops talking about the white flash because he knows there’s no answer for why it happened, and knows that talking about it won’t achieve anything besides making people more depressed anyway, so might as well talk about random things to at least fill the air with something other then silence?
