I needed this, I’m planning on making one of my characters a traumatic amputee

This is really rad, thank you. I’m writing a star wars oc who loses part of her leg in an accident and doesn’t handle it well. I definitely don’t want that fictional story to offend or upset actual amputees.

One of the main characters in a world I made (not really a story because i don’t think i’ll ever write it) is an amputee (also the left arm lol) and this definitely made me start thinking about his story more
