I am literally begging people to learn how to participate in fandom through a lens other than shipping

Can’t we have friendship? Familial relationships? Buddies going on fun adventures together? Bros just hanging out and chilling? Not so friendly acquaintances learning to appreciate one another and how to not entirely despise one another? Exes who are just completely chill and still like hanging out? Two people who have very mixed feelings but are able to put them aside for more important things? And those are just other kinds of relationship ideas! Not to mention the bazillion other ideas you can do with your fandom! There’s really no need to limit yourself to shipping. There’s so much else out there!
